CBD on the other hand is a non psychoactive compound and therefore does not create a “high” feeling. Often it’s best to choose a strain of medical cannabis with a higher and therefore does not create a “high” feeling. Often it’s best to choose a strain of medical cannabis with a higher concentration in CBD for treating anxiety.
Medical cannabis, unless used correctly, can actually have the opposite effect on people suffering from anxiety. In addition to this, not everyone reacts to cannabis the same and what works for others may be slightly different than what works for you. Therefore, it is strongly advised not to self-medicate with recreational cannabis. Using medical cannabis for anxiety should be done with the guidance of a healthcare practitioner.
